New spaces in the New Year!! Cockapoos need more than a traditional dog walker. They need the Cockapoo Adventure Specialist.
What makes the Cockapoo Adventure Club service different from your traditional dog walking service? Let’s find out! All Cockapoo Adventures include my signature MENSA program. This program ensures the safety of your pooch as my focus will always be on them, and their focus will always be on me. This way, I can always get them back on the lead quickly to avoid any potential dangers.
All the Cockapoos also go through a safety training program, and the work continues on every adventure. This includes “Recall”, “Pull in” as we pass people or dogs I don’t know, “Wait” I always do this before entering new areas of the park or woods. “Stand or Sit” while the lead is put on or off. “Look at Me” if I think their attention is wandering off! Impulse control, Wait calmly for treat/toy or to be let off the lead.
Your Cockapoo will explore new and exciting locations over the course of the week with a max of 3 other Cockapoo friends on each adventure. The games are designed to develop a great recall, work on doggie manners, help with lead work, build up confidence and attention, enhance their minds, bodies and most of all, be fun!!
I use a combination of Homemade Premium Quality Air-dried Treats (100% Lean Beef or Turkey) and a selection of toys throughout the adventures. These really keep your pooch focused! I use positive training and positive reinforcement. This creates a great bond and trust between us.
Your Cockapoo has come from generations of hard-working gun dogs, water retrieving dogs and truffle hunters that have been bred for their stamina and intelligence. All activities are designed for your Cockapoos needs. Safety is my top priority at all times.
Clean Jackets provided daily for those muddy wet days. Just think you will not need to put the washing machine on for just one jacket again. Well, at least, not during the week!

I discovered the MENSA Program through a combination of trial and error with my own dogs. Cockapoos are so cute but hard work at times!! I’m sure you have those moments of “Will they ever calm down“!! I pieced together lots of positive training books, Dog training and behaviour Courses.
See, the problem with dog training is there are so many theories out there, but a lot of the time, they forget that dogs just want to have fun!! If we don’t provide the fun, then they will make their own! I’m sure as a Cockapoo owner you have lots of experience of your Cockapoo making their own entertainment? Adventures are a great place to provide these fun-seeking intelligent pooches with the safe entertainment and experiences they need.
As an owner and an Adventure specialist, I want all the fun and entertainment to come from me. That way, the dogs are always looking at me instead of just messing about. That gives them a great fun experience whilst keeping them safe and out of trouble. Make sure your pooch has one thing to look forward to every day. Give them an Adventure.

Intellectually our pooches are similar to a two to three-year-old. We need to give them more Mental Stimulation. Challenges are part of life for all living creatures. Helping our dogs learn and work their grey matter through challenges, games and communication. It Will not only help your pooch feel confidant, but it also builds up mutual understanding. I will cover more on this in your introduction packs.
How This Helps You: Exercise alone will not wear your Pooch out, maybe at first, but they will get fitter and need more exercise to wear them out. Combine Exercise and Mental Stimulation. Now you will have a tired, relax and content Pooch. Ahh, chill time.
As we know, Cockapoos have tons of energy and need daily exercise. With exercise we have to mix it up! I like to use lots of different toys and go through a variety of terranes, woods, open fields, dirt tracks, sand, rivers, long grasses etc. Every Adventure we go on has somthing difrent to offer you Cockapoo. It is good to mix up their exercise to strengthen their bodies, lower the risk of depression, diabetes, obesity, stronger heart, lower blood pressure, denser bones, and improve digestion. Mixing Games and Adventures give our pooches tons of exercise. The plus is your Cockapoo will love it!!
How This Helps You: With daily exercise and fun games, we can reduce common behaviour problems like excessive barking, chewing and your Cockapoo just being annoying while trying to work or chill!!
Imagine never exploring with a toddler! How boring! New Experiences help build confidence and help those excitable pooches calm down. Over the week, we will visit different parks and woods, taking a different route with a wide range of new smells, new terrains and new challenges. With new experiences it helps the pooches focus as they have to pay more attention to the route you are taking. If you repeat the same patten every time you go, your Cockapoo will end up knowing the route and rushing to the fun bits. Towing you behind!
How This Helps You: Dogs regularly exposed to new experiences deal with novelty and feel more comfortable with novelty. (Less Lead Pulling, Less Barking, More Confidence) Don’t worry. I’m here to help you! Plus it’s fun!
This one is important, Safe Socialisation for our dogs and us, especially in these times. The buzzword you will hear when you first get your puppy home is “Socialisation”. With the puppies I raise, my buzz word is “Desensitisation” (any new owner of the pups I raise will have a month of homework to do before collecting their new Cockapoo furball).
“Yes”, I want the Cockapoos to be comfortable and social, but I definitely don’t want a dog that says hello to everyone they meet. Unfortunately, it is just not safe anymore for our dogs, and not everyone appreciates a wet nose in their…
We always have to be careful of other dogs too! I will only let the dogs say hello to other dogs I know well and those with responsible owners who can control their dogs. If you ever hear an owner tell their dog to “Rover, be nice”, get your dog out of there.
How This Helps You: Hopefully, by now, you are starting to see a picture of how Safety and Adventures can go hand in paw. (Sorry couldn’t help that one).
This subject is one of the most overlooked topics we take for granted in our intelligent Cockapoo companions. We should always acknowledge even the smallest sense of achievement. An exciting study shows how dogs’ serotonin levels (Happy Hormone) are way higher after receiving a treat after solving a puzzle versus just receiving the treat without a challenge or sense of achievement.
I’m sure you have done some training with your Cockapoo and seen that special moment when the dog gets it. “Aw, this is what my owner wants me to do!!” At that moment of mutual communication and achievement, it feels good for you and your dog. Achievement is a great motivator for learning and building strong bonds.
How This Help You: We all want happy dogs, well at least I hope you do! If your Cockapoo knows being with you is a fun and rewarding experience, he/she will want to be by your side the whole adventure. They are more likely to listen, and recall becomes fun!

All the Cockapoos in the Club have to go through an onboarding process. This is where we meet and go for a short walk together. At the same time, we will go through the Cockapoo Adventure Club’s critical points and an assessment of your dog’s temperament. This is also time for you to ask as many questions as you like and for us to get to know each other. Don’t worry! I’m easy to talk to and don’t believe there’s such a thing as the perfect Cockapoo. That would be boring! This assessment is free of charge but necessary to join the Club. This ensures that when you join the Cockapoo Adventure Club, your pooch, along with other Cockapoos, will have been assessed on their suitability for walking and playing safely with other dogs and matching their temperament with other Cockapoos in the Club. Once part of the Club, your pooch will be welcomed by their new Cockapoo Friends’ infamous Cockapoo hugs.
