Would you like a calm Cockapoo in the evening?

I know what it’s like to finally sit down to relax after a long day, to watch a bit of TV, or read a book, only to find that your Cockapoo has a different idea!! They are thinking, “Let’s play tug” or “Let me steal something and get a game of chase” or “Lets bark at the sound of a leaf dropping at the end of the street” Yes, I have been there!! I know how frustrating it can be!!, Thank god I discovered a system for fulling Cockapoos needs and burning that excess energy off. That gives them a great fun experience whilst keeping them safe and out of trouble.

I hope you’re not thinking, “oh no, another speech on positive training”. Yes and No. Positive training. “Yes, all the way”. But your Cockapoo needs more. They need an adventure mixed with my signature MENSA program.

I want to help you with your Cockapoo’s needs while you work, look after the kids, or take a well-earned break. I will provide the much-needed MENSA Adventure Experience these intelligent dogs deserve!

This will give you the chance to have a relaxing evening to enjoy Cockapoo cuddles.

Full Guarantee that your pooch will have had an awesome adventure! Sorry, no guarantees on random doodle dashes!! But if you are anything like me, they always make me chuckle.

Cockapoo in Water Having fun

A little Intro about Me

If you asked me seven years ago, I would have said, “I’m not a dog person!”

So how do you go from not being a dog person to wanting to spend your days working with dogs as well as living with two dogs during a pandemic 24/7? Please hang in there. All will be revealed!

As a wee girl, I grew up with loads of cats and random animals from the Castle Eden Dean Nature Reserve. My Stepdad was the Head Warden there. He was always rescuing animals and bringing them home for rehabilitation. Sometimes it would be an abandoned kitten that we would rehome, and if we couldn’t, then we would end up keeping them. At one point, we had five cats, two hedgehogs, a red squirrel (in the days when we had them), a rabbit and a pregnant giant Emperor Moth with a broken wing (we saved the caterpillars).

I was one lucky girl to have grown up in a house of richness for all creatures. By rich, I mean in love, definitely not money, but that’s a different story for another day.

Fast forward to University days. I don’t want to go on too much 😉 Most students would take hmm… a TV, Laptop, Food, beer!! Etc… My luxury item was a Marine fish tank bought second-hand. My Mam and I had hours of enjoyment watching the eco-system evolve and mature over time. My little Sisters luxury item for Uni was a Horse! Definitely a story for another time!

After graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Industrial Design, I began my life journey. I worked for BBC in Glasgow, 1TV as an Art Director in KUBUL (Yes in Afghanistan!!), SKY Sports London as a Set Designer. If you’re a fan of football, you might have seen some of my work. Champions League and Premier League sets are a few of them, and through all these excellent jobs, I always missed the connection to the outside and wildlife. See, I’m a country girl at heart… Continued in About Me…

About Me

After an adventure, it’s always nice to have a cuddle with my two Cockapoos. They deserve it!!  They work hard and play hard. Now time for a relaxing evening… well, at least for the dogs. I have a toddler at home looking forward to his entertainment…

All Cockapoo Adventures include my signature MENSA program. This also ensures your pooch’s safety as my focus is always on them and their focus is always on me.

In these breed-specific adventures, your Cockapoo will explore new and exciting locations over the course of the week. Games are designed to build a great recall, work on doggie manners, help with lead work, build up confidence and attention, enhance their minds, bodies and most of all, be fun!!

I use a combination of Luxury homemade Air-dried Treats (100% Lean Beef or Turkey) and toys throughout the adventures. These really keep your pooch focused! I use positive training and positive reinforcement. This creates excellent bonds and trust between us.

Your Cockapoo has come from generations of hard-working gun dogs, water retrieving dogs, and truffle hunters bred for their stamina and intelligence. All activities are tailored to your Cockapoo’s needs. Safety is my top priority at all times.

Treatment & Prevention of Aggression

Dunbar Academy

Dr. Ian Dunbar is a Animal Behaviorist, and Dog trainer. The course is main aim is to prevent Aggression.

  • Prevent dog aggression in the first place with early puppyhood socialization and handling.
  • Recognize early warning signs and address aggression problems before they become serious.
  • Teach a dog to develop bite inhibition.
  • Prevent dog reactivity with the concept of multiple subliminal bite stimuli.
  • Treat dogs with aggression problems using Differential Classical Conditioning (DCC) to prevent the unintentional reinforcement of reactivity during classical conditioning.
  • Set up training scenarios to accelerate classical conditioning (rather than trying to resolve problems in the course of every day life).
  • Empower low-level primary reinforcers as the highest-level, mega-secondary reinforcers to maximize classical conditioning.

Intro to Dog Parkour

Udemy

Parkour exercises —  Balancing on top objects, running in patterns, and more — should not be about daredevil tricks that risk your dog’s health or break his trust in you. Instead, parkour is a way to build the communication between you and your dog through fun activities. And you can win titles and ribbons along the way! Kate emphasizes safety and skill-building from the ground up, as in any true competitive sport.

By the end of this class, you’ll be ready to start earning your Level 1 title with All Dogs Parkour, an international dog parkour organization that awards titles via video submission. Dogs of all shapes, ages, and abilities are encouraged to participate in ADP.

Kate is a certified dog parkour instructor, certified dog trainer, certified dog behavior consultant, and award-winning author of dog training books, so you and your dog are in the best hands.

Lessons are short and clear, with tons of step-by-step videos you can easily follow. Join the parkour party with Kate and her Chihuahua mixes, and you’ll learn skills that go far beyond just fun and games!

Dog Nutrition & Wellbeing

Udemy

Almost half of all dogs are overweight or obese, while half of all dogs will get cancer at some stage in their life.

Worryingly, these statistics are just the tip of the iceberg in a whole host of ‘modern man’ conditions such as arthritis, diabetes and heart disease that are affecting our dogs in epidemic proportions, not to mention our wallets!

The principles of this course will transform the long-term health of your dog and significantly reduce the likelihood of your precious pet becoming yet another sad statistic.

How? By identifying natural foods that promote optimal health and eliminating the ones that trigger the onset of disease.
This course will enable any owner to create a tailored nutrition plan for their dog, no matter what stage of life it’s at.
